 A class effort from Margaret River, the colour here is an opaque maroon. This is taut, poised, tight and appealingly aromatic. Dried herbs, tobacco leaves, soy, dark chocolate, black fruits and beefstock - all very Cabernet. A wine of medium length, fine tannins and good structure, there is evidence of early complexity here. A life of at least eight to ten years ahead of it. 93.
